Fatima Javed, MD

Hi, I'm Fatima! I'm from Franklin, TN, and went to medical school at UTHSC. I've always been fascinated by the brain, which led me to pursue neurology. Throughout med school, I found myself drawn to the complexity and variety of the field. Outside of medicine, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my bird, Picasso. They've been my biggest support system throughout this journey. I also enjoy trying new foods, being outdoors, traveling, and playing pickleball whenever I can. Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue growing throughout residency, and building meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues along the way. Ultimately, I hope to build a career as a neurohospitalist.
