Aaron Rice, MD
I grew up in Clarksville, TN and am the youngest child of 3. I graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and went to medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine. I am continuing my residency training at the Baptist Memorial-Desoto Transitional Year because the city of Southaven has a welcoming atmosphere with an amazing program to learn medicine from in my transitional year. I have lived in Southaven for the past 4 years for medical school, so I am familiar with the loving environment around the hospital. I believe this program has an excellent learning environment with outstanding program directors and faculty members. I am excited to continue my training after this year in the field of Neurology at UTHSC in Memphis and look forward to continuing to provide care to the community of Tennessee/Arkansas/Mississippi. My free time is mostly spent with my family, friends, playing/watching basketball, running/gym, and playing video games. I have recently picked up cooking as a hobby and hope to be able to provide myself with at least 3 home cooked dinners a week.
