Benjamin Tran, MD

I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering before moving to complete my medical school training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In medical school, I discovered that diagnostic radiology blended the cutting-edge technology I’ve always been drawn to with the ability to directly impact patient care. While I am still exploring the breadth of the field, musculoskeletal radiology compelled me the most. Having spent the past five years in rock climbing, grappling sports, and MMA, I’m deeply interested in sports-related injuries and diagnostics—an area where I feel I can merge my personal passions with my professional aspirations.

As a physician, I hope to embody the patience, depth of knowledge, and kindness I have seen in my mentors.
