Christopher McDaniel, MD

Transitional Year Program Director
Dr. Christopher McDaniel was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from the University of Arkansas before pursing his medical education at St. George's University School of Medicine. He returned to Memphis to complete his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee.
Following residency, Dr. McDaniel has primarily served as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist. In 2023, he joined the Baptist DeSoto Transitional Year Residency Program and Family Medicine Residency Program ad Core Faculty. Outside of medicine, Dr. McDaniel enjoys spending time doing anything outdoors - running, biking, fishing, and hunting - as well as quality time with his family. He is also an avid supporter of the Memphis Grizzlies.
