Harrison Scott, DO

Hello there! I’m glad you found our website and hope you get to experience the Southern hospitality here in Southaven. I grew up in a small town in South central Pennsylvania, and I had barely started grade school when I thought about being a doctor. After I graduated high school, I attended Waynesburg University near Pittsburgh, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in music and business management. My interest in medicine was further fueled by multiple mentors, a research internship in Washington, D.C., and an administrative assistant position for an emergency medicine residency. My aspirations became a reality when I got accepted at the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did clinical rotations in Mississippi, Virginia, and Pennsylvania before matching at Baptist-Desoto. I’m truly honored to practice alongside compassionate and thoroughly competent colleagues who love helping individuals of all backgrounds achieve their optimal physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Aside from medicine, you can find me spending quality time with friends, going on a (leisurely) hike, playing piano, plane spotting, traveling, reading, and making homemade soup.
