Keturah Yusuf, MD

I am from Adamawa state, which is in the Northeast of Nigeria, a Christian and married with 2 kids, I had my undergraduate degree in Human Physiology from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria and went on to Windsor University, St Kitts for my MD degree. I relocated from Abuja, Nigeria to Southaven for my residency program.

I love Baptist for so many reasons, among which is the quality of training where evidence-based medicine is practiced with the latest technology, the program leadership is so amazing with wonderful people; the camaraderie among residents makes this program special.

I love family medicine because it affords me the opportunity to manage a wide range of different conditions across all ages. Disease prevention is also very important; this specialty puts me at the forefront of fulfilling this.

Things I love include spending time with my family, travelling together and watching documentaries.

 It is such an honor to train at Baptist and to serve a diverse population in this area.
