Valencia Swims, MD

I was born in Memphis, TN, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. I completed my undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University before earning my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, with clinical rotations in Chicago, Florida, and Baltimore. Following graduation, I trained as an urban medical intern at Christ Community Health in Memphis, where I strengthened my passion for serving underserved communities.

I am grateful to be back home practicing within the Baptist system, where I strive to bridge healthcare gaps through comprehensive care, education, and support. Outside of medicine, I enjoy DIY projects, practicing yoga, and spending time with my husband and family.
