Jazmine Campbell, MD

Hi! I’m Jazmine Campbell, and I’m excited to spend this year at Baptist DeSoto as part of my Transitional Year. I was born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from Xavier University of Louisiana before attending Trinity School of Medicine. During medical school and clinical training, I developed strong interests in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, particularly sports medicine, musculoskeletal care, occupational injuries, and helping patients regain function. I enjoy caring for patients while considering how their health affects their ability to work and return to the activities that are meaningful to them.

Outside of medicine, I love traveling, spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, cheering on the New Orleans Saints, reading romance and thriller novels, trying new foods and cuisines, and staying active with my dog, Maverick. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside the physicians and residents at Baptist DeSoto and look forward to making the most of this year!
