Nadir Ebrahim, MD

I am originally from Houston, Texas, where I developed a strong interest in healthcare and community well-being. I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin before earning my medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. During that time, I also pursued and completed an MBA in Healthcare, further strengthening my understanding of both clinical care and the systems that support it.

I chose Family Medicine because I appreciate the variety it offers and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients across all stages of life. During residency, I especially enjoyed rotations in addiction medicine, emergency medicine, and dermatology, which shaped my interest in whole-person care. I’m particularly passionate about using lifestyle changes—like nutrition, exercise, and preventive care—to help patients improve both their physical and mental health.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, cooking, discovering new restaurants, staying active with fitness and hiking. These interests help me maintain balance and well-being while taking a break from medicine. I’m excited to be part of the Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto FM Residency program and to serve the Southaven community with compassion and energy.
