Scott Rosen, MD

Associate Program Director/Core Faculty

Dr. Scott Rosen was born in Knoxville, TN but spent the majority of his life in Memphis, TN. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre-Med) and a secondary major of Spanish at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He subsequently obtained his Doctor of Medicine in 2012 at University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN. Following this, he traveled out west to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Arizona Internal Medicine Residency Program before moving back closer to home in Nashville, TN.  

Dr. Rosen has been working as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist since 2015. Currently he is a practicing Internal Medicine Hospitalist at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Desoto and serves as APD of the Transitional Year Residency program and as Core Faculty for the Family Medicine Residency program.  His main areas of focus are on process improvement, transitions of care, efficient/quality care, and palliative care.  When not working, Dr. Rosen enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, travelling, being “foodies” , and hiking.
