Daniel Hogue, MD, MBA
FAMILY MEDICINE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Dr. Joseph Daniel Hogue was born and raised in Tupelo, MS. In pursuit of his education, Dr. Hogue left the Tupelo area and attended Mississippi College in Jackson, MS. After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Theological Education in 2003, he furthered his education, receiving master’s degrees in theology and business administration over the years before eventually graduating as a Doctor of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Hogue immediately started his career at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, AZ, serving as associate medical director and eventually associate program director. In 2019, he also aided the aging population as medical director of Palm View Nursing Home in Yuma.
In 2020, Dr. Hogue joined the Baptist Memorial family to assist in the expansion of Family Medicine residency education in the Mid-South. He currently serves as the Program Director, a hospitalist at Baptist-Desoto, and an outpatient practitioner in the outpatient clinic. Dr Hogue enjoys lending outpatient and inpatient instruction and teaching curriculum to the residency program, and he maintaining his patient care duties. Dr. Hogue is a member of the TN AFP, AAFP, STFM, AMA, AFMRD and AAPL. When not in the clinic or at the hospital, Dr. Hogue enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, riding horses and traveling.
